Richard Wolffe, in his book, “Renegade,” tells how, between election and inauguration of her Dad, in a visit to the Lincoln Memorial, at dusk, to read the Gettysbury Address, Malia showed her stuff.
Lincoln’s focus on justice and equality led Malia to ask, “Yes, how are we doing on that, Mr. President-elect?”
To nail her point, Wolffe writes, Malia added, “First African American president. Better be good.”
